Jordie Michael

Jordie is a registered psychologist, with a Master of Clinical Psychology and broad experience gained in community mental health settings. Jordie is a warm, empathic and encouraging psychologist. She focuses on developing strong collaborative relationships with clients, to gain a deep understanding of their difficulties and strengths, and help them implement practical strategies to enhance psychological wellbeing and achieve personal growth.

Jordie works primarily with adults to address mood and anxiety disorders, impacts of trauma and stress, and issues relating to grief and loss, relationships and parenting, life and role transition, among others.

Jordie ensures therapy is tailored to the individual needs and preferences of her clients and draws from a range of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
